11:00 Pre Dance Show- Dancer Arrival
Pre Dance arrive with parents when doors open between 10:30 and 10:45. No need to check in. Dancers will sit with their families
Pre Dance Students
Each dancer will sit with their family in the audience. 3 Songs before your child's dance you will bring them to the stage door to your left. Please do so during a blackout between dances. Our staff will meet you there and take your dancer backstage to get ready for their dance. Parents will come in the stage door on the left and bring their dancers up the stairs. We will meet you in that side hallway.
If you have a child who is very upset and will not go backstage with us, you can keep them with you and try sending them up the stairs to the stage at the time of their dance. If a child is screaming, we will not be able to put them onstage. We are very sorry in advance if this does happen, but it is a distraction to the other dancers and we must keep things calm onstage.
As a reminder we must know that every dancer can stay on their spot in order to put them onstage. This is for safety purposes, as we do not want a dancer falling off the stage. We will have plenty of staff nearby should a child stray from their spot but please reiterate and practice dancing on a spot at home. Their teacher will be onstage with them and we will have staff in the wings should any problems arise onstage.
